The Skirt Chaser is a 42' Hatteras that was fully re-powered in 2000 with twin 450hp Cummins diesel engines.
She has a cruising speed of 25 kts, has a 14' beam and can hold 400 gallons of fuel.
The salon is professionally decorated with two sofas (one bench, one L-shaped with rod storage underneath). There is a custom built entertainment center in the forward salon area. Down three steps into the galley, to port is the criss cross bunk stateroom and the head is forward. Forward of the head and galley is the V-berth stateroom. There is both air conditioning and heat installed.
For entertainment there is a Panasonic TV with a DVD player, and a Kenwood receiver and CD player.
The Skirt Chaser also has a wet bar with refrigerator and freezer and a convection microwave oven.
The bridge has half tower with 3 sided hardtop enclosure and two bench seats (one with built in ice box).
There is a six person Switlik life raft on the bow. The boat is also equiped with an EPIRB safety device.
Our fishing equipment includes Shimano reels on custom rods spooled with Momoi line.
We are using Rupp outriggers and rocket launchers setup with teaser reels.
The cockpit is equipped with a 130lb class teak wood fighting chair with four clearing rod holders and six holders in the gunnell.
All electronics are state of the art including radar, VHF with SSB, GPS, and chart plotter,
